About Rhonda
Midwestern Roots
With a mom from Kentucky and a dad from Italy, Rhonda identifies as "Hicktalian," and it is not quite a good thing. She spent time growing up in South Texas and Southern Illinois, but considers St. Louis city home - toasted ravioli, frozen custard and perception of high-crime rate included.
East Coast Ambition
Inspired by other women comedians, Rhonda got her comedic start at Scotty's Comedy Cove in Springfield, N.J. She's been on stage at NYC's Broadway Comedy Club and Dangerfield's. She misses NYC restaurants and the energy of the city, but not the unrelenting winters and public transportation woes.
South Florida Sunshine
Rhonda is a female comedian new to South Florida and optimistic about what is to come. She performs with Sick Puppies Comedy at Doghouse Theater, gets on stage for standup comedy at the local Improvs as well as other venues in the region. She works in healthcare communications by day, is a mom to a teenage puggle and tries working on her fitness. The struggle is real.
